The following are frequently asked questions that we receive from prospective tenants. Due to the individuality of properties, this information should be considered only as a guide as specific properties may have differing criteria.

The application fee is $50 per applicant over the age of 18, and must be paid upon submission of an application to rent. Application fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. If you submit an application on-line (or print and fax it to us) you must go to our website (www.DonAsher.com) and pay the application fee(s) via our on-line payment service.
We will obtain a credit, criminal and eviction report for each applicant from a national screening agency. We will obtain verification of the following: satisfactory prior rental history, verification of employment (if applicable) and income. All information collected when processing an application is kept confidential for company use only. False information provided on an application may be grounds for denial of the application or subsequent tenancy.
The credit, criminal and eviction checks are processed quickly. Generally the entire process takes 2 business days. Difficulty in obtaining verification of employment, rental and other necessary verifications will delay the process. Your assistance in the form of additional phone numbers, fax numbers and verbal notification to the people and/or companies that we will be contacting will assist in preventing delays.
You will be contacted to pay the deposits. This must be done within 24 hours to prevent losing the property. Arrangements will be made to schedule all residents to sign the lease. This is usually required within 48 hours after application approval. Certified funds are required for all deposits and initial rent, NO CASH OR PERSONAL CHECKS can be accepted. Pro-rated rent is generally collected for the second month of occupancy, and this will be detailed by the Property Manager if applicable.
Rent is due in our office on the first calendar day of the month, and is considered late after the 3rd day of the month as specified in the lease agreement. Late fees will be assessed on rents not received by us by the due date, as specified in the lease agreement.
The process is complete when the lease is fully executed and all initial fees that are due have been paid via Certified Funds. Your delay in signing the lease can result in losing the property to another applicant.
The owner of the property determines the pet policy for a property.
